Form for Heating

Buildings with large south facing walls and glazing areas exposed to the south (in the northern hemisphere) can benefit from passive heating in the winter. The goal of passive solar heating systems is to absorb the sun’s heat within the building’s materials, store it, and release the heat during the nighttime, to maintain a comfortable room temperature.
